We are proud to introduce the Villa Buena Onda, a unique concept in Playas del Coco, Costa Rica that provides guests an all-inclusive luxury experience.

This private, six-acre estate is solely for you and your guests. Enjoy the two-tiered, infinity pool, swim-up bar, a full-service spa, orchard, wonderful water views and amenities comparable to a luxury resort.

All gourmet meals are tailored according to each guests’ preferences and schedule.

A full-time staff includes: a chef, bartender, housekeeper and house manager that provide very personalized, award-winning luxury service. The Villa also has a dedicated concierge to advise and arrange for off-site tours and adventures.

The Villa Buena Onda is located right on the edge of an authentic Costa Rican fishing town, just minutes to the beach, tours, and shopping.

The Villa is located in the hillsides of Coco and the beach is a about an 8 minute drive/30 minute walk from the Villa. Transportation can be provided for an additional fee.

Liberia Airport, also known as Daniel Oduber International Airport (airport code LIR) is a thirty-five-minute drive to and from the Villa.
The nearest golf course is Reserva Conchal. There are also golf courses located at the Four Seasons and Westin Resort. Our Concierge team can assist in booking reservations and shuttle service for an additional fee.

“What a resort! We spent a week here and it was absolutely the best vacation ever. There were 18 of us in our family, ranging from 11 to 79 years old. Everyone loved it. The accommodations were excellent, the food was great (very Costa Rican style), and the STAFF, WOW. Everyone was outstanding. We wanted a truly relaxing vacation and that’s exactly what we got. We were treated like royalty. We can’t say enough about how the staff treats you. The day we had to say goodbye, there were tears in everyone’s eyes. We celebrated an anniversary, a 79th birthday, and also the end of my chemo, surviving and being in remission. I can’t say enough about this place. The rooms were large, the beds comfortable, and we were very satisfied. I definitely hope to return someday."

"The Villa was great! Sadly, one of our families had to stay home due to illness at the last minute. The staff was wonderful and provided a midday snack to make up the difference. The Villa was lovely, staff great, pool was beautiful and the kids totally enjoyed it. Everything was well maintained, food was good, children loved the food! We adults should have requested more local type food but that’s on us! The one meal that was local was awesome! The lizards 🦎 provided hours of entertainment for the kids! The 3 year old chased the “one lizard”😂😉 we named Steve ALL week! Very steep and rocky not conducive to walking to the beach (which really wasn’t nice anyway). Boys enjoyed the fishing though. I would say a must is getting a golf cart or a car. I would recommend the tours they provide also. Seems pricey but worth it! Overall it was great!"
