Overview

Guests can enjoy breathtaking views of the island of Ischia and the Mediterranean sea. Mafalda was built by a German aristocrat and dedicated to his wife, a descendant of the Italian Royal Family.

Rooms decorated in typical Caprese style, including local tiles and whitewashed walls. Bronze and marble statues are featured in different areas of the property. Boat rental is available (typical Caprese boats called “gozzi”) from Marina Grande Harbor for day cruises to visit the marvelous coast of Capri and the nearby Sorrento. Day tours to Positano and to the Roman city of Pompeii, as well as excursions to the roman ruins of Villa Iovis in Capri can be arranged.
