The private community dock on Fontana Lake is accessible to all guests, making it easy to bring or rent a boat, launch at Almond Boat Park just a short cruise away, and then utilized the covered Rockledge docks for the duration of your stay. Rockledge’s prime location offers unique access to the Nantahala Outdoor Center (NOC) via a private road, winding through a zip-line course to NOC’s campus. Here, adventure awaits with whitewater rafting, zip-lining, and even the chance to meet Appalachian Trail hikers or spot Olympic kayakers training on the river. There are restaurants options and a convenience store here as well.
