The Grand Villa is absolutely beautiful and we loved its location! The highlight was the collapsible walls which brought the outside in! The view was unbelievable. And, having the jungle feel of the surrounding grounds was so relaxing. All I could say is WOW.
We enjoyed being on the French side but close enough to the Dutch side. Just a few things were a draw back, the pool light fixture was not secured properly which made me nervous of electrical issues and the pool bottom not very clean. The tiles on the pool deck needs maintenance with new grout as they were very wobbly. And, I was attached by sand fleas that would not leave me alone. The property managers summed up my flea issue as being that time of year for them being out, but I was ALL over the island and I was not bitten anywhere else except on the Grand Villa grounds. Overall we loved it! But, I will not stay there again due to the sand fleas and the horrible bites I received. - JoMari L.

Overview
This sleek contemporary villa is perfect for individuals seeking serene privacy, yet walking distance to the beach. Set in a palm filled garden, the elegant lines of the house draw you to the calming view. Green tropical foliage edged with the sapphire rim of the sea creates a peaceful atmosphere. This is a space to relax with a book or glass of champagne and totally forget the world. While great for small families and groups of friends, it's perfect for honeymoon couples. It has an intimate and romantic feel.
The clean modern design of the house perfectly blends the open plan interior onto the generous outdoor spaces filled with dining and lounging spaces. Travertine tiles visually connect the spaces. Elegant, inviting designer furniture, used inside and outside, has a Euro style in soothing taupe, off white and grey with touches of vibrant color. The interior spaces have ample seating for enjoying the entertainment features of the house as well as indoor dining. A well-appointed kitchen pairs beautifully with the flow of the house. In deep aubergine, steel and grey granite, the kitchen opens to both the exterior and interior spaces connecting the chef with the guests. Covered, multilevel terraces create opportunities to change the scene. On the main level is the large fiber optic pool which delights with ever changing colors at night. Or perhaps enjoy the outdoor pool table for a bit of sport. For really spectacular views, head up to the roof top living space for a spectacular perch to watch the view from sunrise to sunset. A hot tub provides a tranquil spot for detoxing from stress.
The three bedrooms, with hardwood floors, are equal size, have air condition and flat screen TVs with Apple TV plus en suite bathrooms. Each has private seating on covered terraces. One bedroom is off the main villa; two are in a separate casita. The spa bathrooms are fabulously oversized with indoor and outdoor showers opening to private garden views.
Although secluded, you are close to amenities. You are steps from Plum Baie Beach. It's a short drive to Baie Nettle's new culinary stars; Le Sand, Dreams and Mezza Luna. 15 minutes to the airport and in 10 minute you reach the charming French capital of Marigot with restaurants, shops and galleries, historic buildings and the Creole Market. Drive 25 minutes to Grand Case and Philipsburg's shopping haven.
