Thank you so much for making my week in Tuscany a truly unforgettable experience. We had such a wonderful experience at Villa Morgana. What a truly stunning and magical place! It exceeded all of our expectations and proved to be the perfect setting to celebrate my 50th birthday. My two wishes for a villa in Tuscany were to have A Room with a View and a table under a loggia. I got that and more! 9 rooms, all with spectacular views; an outdoor seating area where we shared all of our breakfasts and dinners (and some vino!); a gorgeous swimming pool overlooking the owner’s family estate in the distance; a wonderful outdoor shower; a cutting garden with vegetables galore; delicious wine from the family's private vineyard; a sauna, jacuzzi, pool table and ping pong table! We used it all. By the end of the week, Pietro and his team had made us all feel so at home it was hard to imagine anyone else moving in! I'm afraid the phrase 'To the manor borne' comes to mind! Our hosts were warm and gracious, accommodating and responsive. They treated us like we were close family friends and left no stone unturned to ensure our week was beyond compare. And it was! Pietro is a true gentleman - knowledgeable, engaging and genuine. There was no sense of entitlement, only a true sense of hospitality and a clear desire to make us all feel at home. We even had the chance to meet his father and brother, clearly a very close knit, proud and successful family. And what a team they've assembled at the villa: Giovanna, the housekeeper/cook, Maria (cook) and Marco (gardener) were all so nice and accommodating. On our first day, Pietro told us we would love the staff at the villa, and we did. They were all absolutely lovely and, by the end, they felt like part of our close knit group. The villa is set on a beautiful estate and consists of two separate units, the main villa and the adjacent guest house. The villa is built on two floors. The upper floor has its own independent entrance through an external staircase. The villa enjoys breathtaking views of the surrounding open landscape. Only 4 km away from Buonconvento, Villa Morgana is an ideal starting point for sightseeing and trips to the enchanting villages in the Val d’Orcia and to the art cities such as Florence and Siena.
Villa Morgana, a country retreat offering panoramic views of the famous Tuscan rolling hills, is an ideal villa for multi-generational family gatherings, and a perfect location for wine lovers, who may enjoy tastings featuring wine produced on the estate.
